XP Internet Security

Posted: August 9, 2010

XP Internet Security is a rogue anti-spyware application. XP Internet Security may come in the form of a popup alert message that will attempt to initiate a system scan. The notification and system scan are bogus. XP Internet Security should not be trusted becomes it is not capable of detecting or removing legitimate computer parasites.

XP Internet Security comes from the family of rogues known as Antivirus XP 2010. XP Internet Security is known to be installed usually without permission from a Trojan horse parasite. After installation XP Internet Security will load at startup of Windows where it will attempt to continually notify the user of fake infections. It is highly recommended that XPInternetSecurity be detected and removed automatically with a spyware removal tool to ensure your system is not further damaged.
