"Your Windows has been blocked" is a message created by a ransomware Trojan that locks up your computer under the deceptive pretense of being a punishment for copyright violations. The "Your Windows has been blocked" Trojan will threaten to delete your files and entire operating system if you refrain from paying a $100 fine, but the Trojan will not follow up on this threat. You can remove "Your Windows has been blocked" ransomware Trojans and regain full access to your computer by using Safe Mode in combination with an appropriate anti-malware scanner.

Don't Believe the "Your Windows has been blocked" Fake Ransom
