ADBlaster is a Possibly Unwanted Program (PUP) that was created to display unwanted advertisements on the websites visited by online shoppers. These advertisements may appear unexpectedly in the form of pop-up and pop-under advertisements, video advertisements, banners, coupons and similar content and may block original advertisements in order to force you to view its sponsored ones. AdBlaster may have entered the computer bundled with free software. No matter how AdBlaster has entered the computer AdBlaster may cause several problems on the affected PC. AdBlaster may disrupt the computer user's online experience with its intrusive advertisements; AdBlaster may exhaust the machine's resources and make it slow and irresponsive; AdBlaster may collect the computer user's browsing preferences and send the information to third parties. AdBlaster doesn't carry any destructive payload. However, AdBlaster is able to complicate its removal by reinstalling itself. AdBlaster automatically runs on every Windows startup.
