The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

Online ads are a handy way for site administrators to generate some income. Many legit sites rely solely on commercial materials to cover their expenses such as the hosting fees. However, the offers and discounts with the slogan 'Ads by Ads2' may not be part of the site that you are currently viewing. If you notice them as you surf the Web, your browser may be infected with adware. This type of software is not frankly threatening, but may still cause major inconvenience to the users. The questionable extension named simply 'Ads2' may enter bundled with third-party programs. If you download content from unverified sources and install it without reading the details, it may load this or some other adware automatically. The plugin is cross-compatible, which means it may work just as fine on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Ads2 may inject additional pop-ups, banners and eye-catching animations. The tool also may transform relevant words into hyperlinks. You may not notice the commercial materials when you are surfing shopping platforms. Instead, the coupons and exclusive offers may become part of almost every site you open. This process may become infuriating, especially if some ads cover essential page buttons. Ads2 also may interfere with the results that you see when you perform a search. Ads2 may put sponsored links in the first positions. The adware also may cause automatic redirections towards its partners whenever you open new browser tabs. The consequences of this advertising activity for your Web clients may involve speed drops and freezes. An even more disturbing issue is that some links may open corrupt pages designed to harm the visitors. It is recommendatory to eliminate the Ads2 adware from your system with an advanced security tool.
