Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Advance System Care is a piece of software that claims to be a reliable system optimizer that can take care of a broad range of tasks whose completion should lead to a significant improvement of the Windows' stability and performance. According to their official website, the Advance System Care can provide users with a quick way to clean and optimize their Registries, manage their Web browser add-ons, as well as control which programs are started when Windows is booted automatically. Although these features are useful, it is worth nothing that most of them are not available in the free version of the Advance System Care – this means that users who install this software might not be able to execute some of these operations until they purchase a premium license for the Advance System Care. The publishers of the Advance System Care don't require a one-time payment and, instead, their software is offered with a subscription plan – €29.95 for the first six months, and €14.95 every six months after that.
Many legitimate pieces of software use the Advance System Care's way of monetizing their product – they provide a handful of features in the free version and offer an extended functionality with the full version. However, the Advance System Care is different because users who don't opt to pay the subscription fee may end up experiencing some annoying issues that the Advance System Care may cause. When the Advance System Care creates a report of recommended fixes and optimizations, it may start to remind the users that their computers need to be optimized continuously and purchasing the full version is strongly recommended. These notifications may appear in new windows, in the notification area or even in alert boxes. This may turn out to be rather disruptive while doing any computer work, and it is not a surprise that the Advance System Care is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program.
The Advance System Care does not offer any unique features that justify its high price tag, nor does it uses fair techniques to convince users to purchase the full version. Also, the fact that multiple anti-virus vendors classify the Advance System Care as a PUP means that users who opt to remove it would make a good choice, although the removal of the program is not mandatory.
