‘Adware.DealPlay has been detected.’ Pop-Up

'Adware.DealPlay has been detected' is yet another adware infection that causes the display of pop-up messages designed to scare users into thinking there is something wrong with their computer. Users often get infected with adware applications by downloading and installing other free software that often comes bundled with a PUP or adware. Once inside the PC, 'Adware.DealPlay has been detected' message pops up and asks you to contact their support hotline in order to fix the problem. Once you contact their support, you may be asked for more money as there would obviously be other 'problems' with your system, so do not fall for this tactic.
