The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

SurveyMeta is a questionable ad-based extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Interner Explorer. It may reach your PC if you install freeware via the 'Quick' menu instead of the more detailed 'Advanced' one. The bundling tactic is not the only delivery method for SurveyMeta. This adware also has an official site, which you can find at surveymeta.com. You may be redirected towards this page if you click on some misleading online ads. The domain advertises SurveyMeta as a helpful and reliable extension, which will allow the users to take part in paid surveys. Although the statement is misleading, to some people it may seem convincing so they may install the adware voluntarily. You should know that these applications are not designed to assist you with your online shopping or to let you make some money from your browser. Their main function is to redirect you to partner third-party pages. Another purpose may be to obtain some personal information from you, such as your email address or phone number. You may be encouraged to share such data if you take part in the surveys. Some pop-ups may also deceive you that you have won expensive rewards and you need to write your contact forms to receive them. SurveyMeta includes such a wide variety of commercial materials that it may worsen the performance of the web clients. You may encounter new pop-ups, banners, in-text ads of other eye-catching marketing elements. Some of them may be embedded multimedia ads, which may result in occasional speed drops or freezes of your Internet client. Since the ads by SurveyMeta may appear on various sites, they may cause severe irritation. You may also not enjoy the fact that this adware changes the homepage with an untrustworthy search provider to redirect you to the partners. Without any doubt, the greatest risk of SurveyMeta is that it may transfer you to potentially malicious pages, which may attempt to infect you. It is advisable to delete SurveyMeta with suitable security software to fix your web clients and prevent other issues.
