Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

WonderBrowse is an adware browser add-on that delivers advertisements into specially-modified Web pages as your browser loads them. Although WonderBrowse markets its function as an online shopping assistant, malware researchers found minimal advantages from WonderBrowse's advertisements and recommend taking any bargains WonderBrowse offers with a large grain of salt. Since WonderBrowse and other adware programs provide browser changes that aren't necessarily helpful and may be security or performance issues, uninstalling WonderBrowse usually is the best reaction you can have to WonderBrowse, no matter how WonderBrowse was installed originally.
Why It's not Necessarily Wondrous to Browse with WonderBrowse
WonderBrowse is marketed as a tool for improving your ability to find online products at a good price point. However, with 'bargains' that aren't necessarily sorted in your favor, and a limited set of advertising sources at hand, WonderBrowse's real benefits are more than a little up in the air. Malware researchers see no reason to consider WonderBrowse anything more than another form of typical adware, which hasn't any mentionable benefits to your Web-browsing experience.
Side effects related to WonderBrowse's functions may include poor browser performance or stability, worsened online security, potential exposure to other PC threats, and difficulties in accessing any Web page content modified for hosting these additional advertisements. However, WonderBrowse isn't classified as a threat and doesn't represent the same form of danger to your PC as a Trojan, rootkit or other high-level threat.
The Wonder of Having Your Browser All to Yourself
Given the widely verified dearth of normal download sources for WonderBrowse, malware experts currently estimate that software bundles and other semi-consensual methods are WonderBrowse's main method of distribution to other computers. Keeping your browser well away from known sources of PUPs, browser hijackers and adware that tend to bundle them with unrelated products will provide an important first level of security against possible WonderBrowse installers. Even if you do find it necessary to install software from such a source, it's worth taking notice of the ability of many reputable anti-malware products to detect common software bundlers.
Since normal removal methods applied to WonderBrowse may not be able to remove all of the browser changes caused by WonderBrowse, using good anti-malware or anti-adware programs for WonderBrowse's deletion is an ideal way of getting WonderBrowse off your computer. In the meantime, as long as you use common sense and good browser security while undergoing any contact with WonderBrowse's advertisements, there should be no permanent harm caused to your PC.
The range of browsers affected by WonderBrowse still is under investigation. Windows browsers often are more vulnerable to adware, although this isn't a hard and fast rule; in some circumstances, Linux and Mac-based browsers also may be modified. In many cases, these browser changes may occur over multiple browsers, all concurrently.
