Antivirus Protection Center

Posted: February 19, 2010

Antivirus Protection Center is a phony anti-spyware application that is designed with the intent to rip-off computer users. Antivirus Protection Center comes in the form of a free edition and one that is paid for. Antivirus Protection Center’s goal is to get users to pay for a fully licensed version which does no more than the free one. Antivirus Protection Center essentially does not detect or remove any type of legitimate computer parasites. Instead, Antivirus Protection Center masquerades on a system while it popups up false notifications and conducts bogus system scans. Antivirus Protection Center is not to be trusted under any circumstance.
