Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

AnytimeAstrology is a product of Mindspark Interactive Network, a well-known software publisher whose products are usually browser add-ons that extend the browser's functionality by providing the user with access to a variety of features and utilities. As the name of this extension suggests, astrology fans will be able to use AnytimeAstrology to get the latest readings for their star signs. While this feature might seem useful, we'd like to remind our readers that this sort of data can be found via a quick Web search, and they don't have to use a 3rd-party browser add-on to access it necessarily.
The strange thing about AnytimeAstrology is that its installer asks users to provide the extension with rather strange permissions – such as the ability to modify the settings of their Web browser. The installation of AnytimeAstrology may change the behavior of the Web browsers the following way:
- Google Chrome's default new tab page will be changed to a MyWay.com search page, which has been branded with the AnytimeAstrology's name.
- Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox will have both their new tab and homepage replaced with the aforementioned MyWay.com search page.
Some PC security products detect and remove AnytimeAstrology as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). Software that is classified as a PUP is not harmful to your computer and, in fact, often it's features may turn out to be rather useful. However, you should keep in mind that PUPs may sometimes bring some unwanted side effects to your system's behavior, and the only way to deal with these consequences is to uninstall the PUP responsible for the issues. In this case, users who don't want to see the MyWay.com page in their browser might need to uninstall the AnytimeAstrology extension.
