Such a claim of a software update for Flash Player in itself is questionable as Flash Player is one of the most exploited apps for malicious software.

In some instances, the AristotleLookup may be loaded due to installing other software on a Mac, usually from a bundled installation package. Those who give into the pop-up alerts of AristotleLookup may inadvertently load the components associated with AristotleLookup, which can then load malicious files and a fake Flash Player Update notification.
