Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Backdoor.Sixer is an advanced malware that may give some hackers full control over the infected machines. If this cyber threat reaches your PC, Backdoor.Sixer may record account credentials, collect files or change the configuration of your Operating System (OS) automatically. A particularly disturbing fact is that Backdoor.Sixer works silently in the background. You may receive no indication of the infection, which means you may not take the proper actions in a timely manner. You should know how this advanced parasite may travel across the Internet to prevent its access to your system. The hackers responsible for the creation of Backdoor.Sixer may spread it in spam email campaigns. With a click of the mouse, they may send the payload of Backdoor.Sixer to thousands of recipients at once. They may use aggressive social engineering tactics to convince the user to open the attached file. It may be described as an invoice, government document, text file about a failed shipment, etc. The infection with Backdoor.Sixer also may occur if you agree to update Java or Adobe from sources besides the official platforms. Backdoor.Sixer changes the Windows Registries immediately after it enters. This action has two purposes. First Backdoor.Sixer makes sure it will be active whenever the machine is switched on. Second, Backdoor.Sixer attempts to block various security features like the Firewall or automatic updates. When it grants itself an undisturbed presence, Backdoor.Sixer will try to connect your machine to Command and Control (C&C) servers. These hosts allow the hackers to communicate with the Trojan and send instructions. Depending on their will, Backdoor.Sixer may start harvesting your account credentials. If Backdoor.Sixer obtains the names and passwords for your payment accounts, the consequences may be substantial financial losses. The con artists may also browse your hard drives and collect files. Backdoor.Sixer may be used to infect you with additional cyber threats, which may cause more problems. You should install a powerful threat removal utility to delete this Trojan before Backdoor.Sixer causes further damage.
