Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Backupdutylite is a Potentially Unwanted Program that markets itself as a file-backup utility for your computer. Despite not being designed as deliberately unsafe, Backupdutylite does make its removal needlessly difficult and often is installed through the same kinds of software bundles that malware experts have come to associate with numerous computer pests. PUPs like Backupdutylite rarely are very risky to your computer, but tend to lack any functions that would make their presence beneficial, and deleting Backupdutylite with an adaptable anti-malware program should be your first instinct when it comes to responding to Backupdutylite's presence on your hard drive.
When the 'Lite' Version Merely is a Sales Pitch for the Real Thing
Backupdutylite is a file-backup cloud storage program that lacks any major damaging functions, but also includes many of the traditional earmarks of a Potentially Unwanted Program. These negative traits start all the way back at how Backupdutylite is installed. Backupdutylite may be installed without the PC user's consent through software bundles for other programs, such as the Registry cleaner Regwork. Although Backupdutylite will not notify you about its installation, you soon may notice Backupdutylite as a result of its frequent pop-up warnings that invite you to acquire the full version of its software.
Along with a non-consensual install method and recurring pop-ups, Backupdutylite may also prevents itself from being deleted through any normal software uninstallation procedure – such as via the Windows Control Panel. Partial uninstall solutions may remove the evidence of Backupdutylite's visible components but usually will not stop the ongoing pop-ups requesting you to spend money on this suspicious software.
Doing Your Duty to Your PC by Ditching Backupdutylite
Despite Backupdutylite's motto of 'No extra effort,' the amount of effort required to avoid Backupdutylite, not to mention removing Backupdutylite, make Backupdutylite firmly classifiable as a Potentially Unwanted Program or PUP. These applications almost always should be deleted to improve the stability, performance and safety of your computer, and malware researchers haven't found any cause to recommend any other action for Backupdutylite.
Because Backupdutylite tries to prevent its deletion and often is installed with several other PUPs, the use of anti-malware applications can be considered the most reliable way to delete Backupdutylite. If this is done without any excessive delay, little to no permanent damage may be done to your machine as a consequence of its temporarily harboring the uninvited guest of Backupdutylite.
