The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

Beamrise Toolbar is an add-on for your browser that sets your homepage to the Beamrise.com website and redirects your Web searches to the same. While Beamrise Toolbar and Search's user agreement claims to enact these changes with your consent, Beamrise Toolbar and Search may not remove these alterations after uninstallation and often is installed automatically from various sources. Therefore, Beamrise Toolbar and Search may be classified as a browser hijacker at worst or, at best, a Potentially Unwanted Program. SpywareRemove.com malware experts don't consider Beamrise Toolbar and Search's Beamrise.com to be malicious, but do warn that search results promoted by Beamrise Toolbar and Search may not necessarily be relevant and usually include advertisements. Usually, deleting Beamrise Toolbar should be accomplished via suitable anti-malware programs that also can delete all of the browser changes that are associated with Beamrise Toolbar and Search.
Putting a Beam of Clarity on the Beamrise Toolbar and Search's Purpose
Often referred to as the Beamrise Toolbar, Beamrise Search or the Beamrise Redirect Virus, Beamrise Toolbar and Search is functionally no different from a browser hijacker, as Beamrise Toolbar exists primarily to redirect your browser to Search.Beamrise.com and promote that site – this despite the fact that Beamrise is marketed as an app management and social networking utility. The associated side effects of Beamrise Toolbar and Search include having both your homepage and your searches locked to Beamrise.com, which, to its credit, at least does not generate any intentionally malicious content in its search results.
Beamrise Toolbar and Search and similar browser plugin-based PC threats usually are distributed in secondary ways apart from their individual installers. The most common method is to package Beamrise Toolbar and Search and other browser hijackers with an unrelated application that's distributed freely on freeware sites, torrenting networks, etc. With these trends in evidence, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers encourage a close examination of the installation processes of all programs from untrustworthy download sources as the easiest way to keep Beamrise Toolbar and Search away from your browser.
Rising and Shining to a Day without Beamrise
Beamrise Toolbar and Search do not have any positive features that would justify the browser changes Beamrise Toolbar and Search make, and SpywareRemove.com malware experts rate the Beamrise Toolbar as a PUP (or Potentially Unwanted Program) even in the best of circumstances. With a normal browser add-on, you should be able to deactivate and uninstall the Beamrise Toolbar to remove all of its browser changes, but the Beamrise Toolbar has proven, typically, more stubborn to being removed than a legitimate browser add-on would be.
To counteract all the browser changes that are associated with Beamrise Toolbar and Search, SpywareRemove.com malware experts suggest booting into Safe Mode and launching an updated anti-malware scanner. Keeping your browser and all related programs closed while Beamrise Toolbar and Search is being removed also is recommended, and will allow whatever anti-malware software you prefer to detect and remove all PC threats linked to Beamrise Toolbar and Search with a minimum of unexpected interferences.
