ScreenshotBlockDefense, otherwise known as Block Defense, is a fake spyware remover masquerading as legitimate software. BlockDefense is a clone of other rogue anti-spyware programs such as SaveDefense, SaveKeep, SaveSoldier and TrustNinja. With the aid of affiliated trojans, BlockDefense sneaks onto your computer and begins running a fake system scan that reports fabricated infection results, accompanied by misleading security alerts, in order to trick you into believing your PC is infected. You are then prompted to purchase and download BlockDefense in order to combat these imaginary threats.
