Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Blue Amulet is a browser add-on that is responsible for the creation of many advertising materials in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. If the name of this extension makes you think it will protect you from some dangerous computer programs, you are mistaken. This adware has no other functions besides attaching pop-ups, banners and sponsored animations to the visited websites. For this reason, the people behind Blue Amulet have only one way to advertise it – as a reliable shopping optimizer. It is unlikely that anyone will search and download this adware intentionally because it doesn't have a positive reputation. Instead, you may load it while you install some type of freeware. This way of spreading software is known as "bundling". It is the preferred option for the distribution of questionable programs because people often skip the details. As long as the clients click on the displayed coupons, discounts and offers, the developers of Blue Amulet receive referral commissions. However, their profits often come at the expense of the users, who may get annoyed by the intrusiveness of the ads. The commercial materials may be found in various domains, and it is possible for some of them to block some important page buttons. There isn't any system that checks if the sponsored platforms are safe. As a result, it is possible the pop-ups and banners to transfer you to pages that are potentially hazardous. Another disturbing feature of Blue Amulet is that it may burden your PC and cause the browsers to work too slowly. The extension is known to be hard to delete, so you should perform the removal process with updated security software.
