BrainSpy is a Trojan that allows an unauthorized user to gain remote control of your computer. First, BrainSpy disables and deletes your anti-viral software, and downloads other parasites onto your machine. Then, BrainSpy may capture your private information through accessing your cached passwords, downloading your files, and recording keystrokes that you make. BrainSpy may also shut down your computer, its server, and its processes or services; disable your "Ctrl-Alt-Del" and double-click commands; and may open and close your CD-ROM.
