BrightBrowse is a harmless site that may eventually lead computer users to unwanted pages or sites that have questionable content. BrightBrowse is considered to be a browser hijacker due to it loading automatically as a default home page in most web browser applications. Use of the BrightBrowse page, which is a generic Internet search engine, may resolve several results that are surrounded by advertisements and sponsored links. Use of the various sponsored links and advertisements may cause additional redirects to load up pages that offer random products and services related to items you have viewed in the past. The ability for BrightBrowse to track your browser history is part of it being a browser hijacker that is mostly unwanted by computer users. Most times, BrightBrowse and its plugins and browser extension components will load automatically through the installation of freeware programs that are obtained from the Internet. Removal of BrightBrowse may require deleting all related plugin and add-on extension components from the affected computer.
