BrowserModifier.SearchEnhancement is a browser hijacker that pretends to be a real Browser Helper Object (BHO) and is designed to hijack your Internet Explorer and search results. BrowserModifier.SearchEnhancement propagates via open share networks, P2P software, or may come bundled with fake video codecs or free screensavers. Once active, BrowserModifier.SearchEnhancement will produce annoying popup warning messages claiming that your PC has been infected and you should download an anti-spyware application in order to get rid of the parasites. Do not fall for this trickery and have BrowserModifier.SearchEnhancement removed as soon it has been detected.
