BrowserModifier.SearchV is a computer Worm infection which compromises the infected computer system, and attempts to deliver various advertisements to the user's system. A computer infected with BrowserModifier.SearchV may display the following warning signs: Creates a hidden window which can be used to run other programs without your knowledge, adds a Registry Key (RUN) to auto start Programs on system start-up, and adds a Registry Key (RUNONCE) to auto start Programs on system start-up. Should your system be experiencing these symptoms, chances are BrowserModifier.SearchV is active on the system. Have BrowserModifier.SearchV removed before it wreaks even more havoc on the compromised PC.
