The Career Job Search is a browser add-on available for Google Chrome exclusively. However, the add-on might not be as useful as its publisher (Polarity Technology LTD) claims it to be. While this tool is meant to help users discover the best job offers in their area, it does not do this on its own and, instead, it relies on redirecting the user to 3rd-party services, which are capable of displaying job offers. What the Career Job Search is really meant to do is to bring traffic to one of the Polarity's websites - http://search.careerjobsearch.co/. This website is meant to serve as a search engine, as well as a place where users can find some of the links that can take them to 3rd-party job searching services.
While the Career Job Search is not harmful, it is undoubtful that its publishers are advertising it falsely to get more users to install it on their computers. The end-goal of this operation is to boost the traffic that Search.careerjobsearch.co receives significantly, therefore boosting the ad revenue that this page is able to generate.
The search feature found on this page works flawlessly, and users will be redirected to the Yahoo Search whenever they attempt to use the search field. When the users install the Career Job Search, they might authorize it to modify the Chrome's configuration by replacing their new tab page with Search.careerjobsearch.co – a change that most users would not agree with.
If you are experiencing any of the slightly annoying issues mentioned above, then you should consider removing the Career Job Search. By removing this add-on, you can revert the changes that it has applied to your browser's configuration automatically. Keep in mind that the program can be eliminated either via manual removal or with the use of specialized PC security software.
