Chromebrowser.windowsdesk.net is one of those annoying pop-up windows that shows up as a result of adware-related programs or PUPs (Potentially Unwanted Programs). This fake alert message is displayed while users browse the Internet. Computer security experts warn users to be careful about pop-ups by Chromebrowser.windowsdesk.net as they are a scam created to make money. In terms of classification, Chromebrowser.windowsdesk.net is a domain designed to distribute ads and install PUPs to targeted computers. The message itself states:

"Chrome Alert
Suspicious Activity Detected. Chrome may get stuck as an anonymous activity has found.
To fix, please call our Support at 844-503-3659 (toll Free) immediately."

Calling the provided support number is not the way to resolve this since it is a fake alert. In case you call the provided number, you may be asked to purchase a 'useful' software that helps you clean your PC completely. Do not fall for this trick, it is just a scam created to generate income.
