The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

The Clean My Browser is a browser extension compatible with Google Chrome whose installation might seem like an attractive offer because it claims to protect users from potentially harmful extensions, as well from websites that may collect their data or expose them to harmful content. Furthermore, the official website states that the Clean My Browser will remind users to clean up the private data stored in their Web browser on a regular basis and that it will perform additional actions to improve the browser's performance and stability.
While all of this may sound very convenient, the Clean My Browser's official website also states that users will be introduced to a unique new tab page, which will enhance their searches, and help them find more relevant content online.
If the users agree to all of the Clean My Browser's Terms & Conditions, they will end up allowing the extension to change the default new tab page of Google Chrome to Search.cleanmybrowser.com. While this change is not harmful, some users might not be happy with the quality of the service that this page may offer. The new tab page is mostly blank, and all it features is the Clean My Browser logo alongside a small search field. Using the search function simply opens a new tab which refers the user to the Yahoo Search.
Using the Clean My Browser may not bring any valuable features to the Web browser so that users who have this extension installed might want to reconsider their decision. If you think the Clean My Browser is not something you need, then you can carry out the removal of this extension either manually or with the assistance of cyber security software.
