The 'Click Allow to verify that you are not a robot' is a cybersecurity threat that exploits social engineering techniques to lure users into allowing push notifications from corrupted websites on the Internet. The malware simulates Captcha or ReCaptcha scripts and activates when a user visits some of the pages controlled by the attackers. It manifests through an “Allow notifications” message that asks the user to subscribe to notifications from the corresponding website. Whenever potential victims confirm the subscription by clicking the 'Allow' button, they will start seeing unwanted pop-up advertisements from various websites appearing on their screen constantly. The annoying advertisements would pop up even without the user having opened an Internet browser.

The 'Click Allow to verify that you are not a robot' pop-ups are caused by corrupted scripts on certain websites. However, they also could suggest that a computer is infected by an adware threat. Adware threats typically land on a computer bundled within programs offered for free on the Internet, or through unprotected file-sharing networks. To remove the 'Click Allow to verify that you are not a robot,' you can try resetting your browser to its initial settings, which also should disable any harmful extensions. If that does not help, you should install a reliable, automated malware removal tool.
