Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

If some of the commercial materials you see contain a tiny inscription "Powered by CoffeeFeed" when you are online, then there is adware on your PC. You should not worry too much because this program is not some vicious malware that will disrupt your system. The consequences of having this questionable tool are not detrimental, but may be pretty annoying. To begin with, some users may get irritated as soon as they notice the pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and in-text ads by CoffeeFeed. There are several reasons for this negative reaction. First of all, the majority of people don't load this suspicious software intentionally. The adware may sneak in completely unnoticed together with freeware. Since most users prefer to finish the installation process as soon as possible, they may select the "Quick" menu, which may conceal the information about the bundled components. The second reason for the lack of appreciation is that the commercial materials tend to be distracting. They are usually eye-catching to attract the attention of the person. Undoubtedly, seeing the same blinking animations on most sites may be unpleasant. The first thing the users do when they want to surf the web without facing the ads is to switch to another browser. However, CoffeeFeed may affect Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer simultaneously, so this solution is inefficient. The third reason not to keep the adware concerns to the partner pages. Some of them may be unreliable or even potentially dangerous while others may try to obtain personal information like an e-mail address or phone number. If you scan your PC with powerful security software, you can easily eradicate CoffeeFeed.
