ConvertrzSearch

ConvertrzSearch is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may reside on your computer in the shape of a browser extension for Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. The purpose of this add-on is to help you convert documents from one format to another or do the same with video and audio files. Having such a helpful utility at your disposal may sound great, but we assure you that ConvertrzSearch is not as good as its description says.

For starters, this extension does not supply any file conversion modules – instead, all it does is to redirect users to 3rd-party online services that offer the file conversion options they need. Furthermore, ConvertrzSearch may set your Web browser's new tab page to Portal.convertrz-search.com, and search engine to Feed.convertrz-search.com. These changes are not a major issue, but they may reduce the quality of your search results, as well as hinder your Web browsing experience.

If you have approved ConvertrzSearch's installation, and you are not satisfied with the changes and features it brought, then we advise you to consider removing it from your computer. Although this can be done manually, it is better to complete the removal task with the help of a suitable PC security application.
