Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

CornerSunshine is a Potentially Unwanted Program whose installation introduces a fancy weather widget to the user's desktop. The weather widget works as expected, and it has the ability to display the current temperature and weather conditions, as well as the forecast for a few days ahead. All weather-related information that CornerSunshine provides is reliable since it uses the services of one of the most popular Web-based weather forecast platforms. While this may seem like a useful utility, we should also inform you that CornerSunshine's installation may lead to the injection of unwanted advertisements in the user's Web browser. Ad-supported software is not threatening, but using such programs may worsen your Web browsing experience, and expose you to irrelevant or annoying marketing content every time you use your Web browser.
The CornerSunshine Potentially Unwanted Program does not necessarily have to be downloaded and installed from its official website. Applications of this sort may often rely on software bundles and other software distribution methods, whose purpose is to offer users to install software they might not have intended to use. Software bundles that include CornerSunshine's installation file may always ask for the user's permission to install this software, but they also may forget to mention that CornerSunshine is an ad-supported application, and its installation always brings advertisements to the user's Web browser.
CornerSunshine's benefits are undeniable, but the fact that it is classified as a PUP and participates in suspicious activities on the victim's computer is also something that can't be overlooked. If you don't use the CornerSunshine's services on a regular basis yet you have it installed on your computer, then we suggest that you remove this software so that its ads will not bother you again. The removal of CornerSunshine can be performed from the Windows Control Panel manually, or users also can use an anti-malware scanner to erase all files and Registry entries that accompanied CornerSunshine's installation automatically.
