Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

The Daily Social Web Toolbar is a browser utility whose installation is meant to help users organize, access and manage their social media accounts by providing them with a neat collection of tools that can be found in their new tab. However, to introduce these new 'features,' the Daily Social Web Toolbar asks users to allow it to tamper with their Web browser's settings so that the users will access a 3rd-party page whenever they open a new tab. The Daily Social Web Toolbar software is a product of Polarity Technologies LTD, and its installation is known for changing the default Chrome New Tab to Search.hdailysocialweb.com.
The new tab page that the Daily Social Web Toolbar promotes is not a harmful one, but the quality of the search results it offers might decline over time. Currently, the Daily Social Web Toolbar provides results via the Yahoo Search, but the Web page is not affiliated with Yahoo, and the way it works might change at any time. Furthermore, the 'social media tools' it offers are questionable – the new tab simply contains links to some of the more popular social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Google+ and others. Overall, the Daily Social Web Toolbar does not seem like a very handy extension, and the fact that it has been classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) shows that the Daily Social Web Toolbar is probably not something you want to have on your computer. If you are interested in learning how to remove this Potentially Unwanted Program, then you should know that there are two ways to resolve the issue:
- Uninstall the Daily Social Web Toolbar via Chrome's settings menu manually.
- Use a reputable PC security tool to scan the system and erase all Potentially Unwanted Programs or other suspicious files that were detected.
