DarkHotel

DarkHotel is a hacking group and attack method that is known to specifically target high-profile hotel guests in the North Korean area. DarkHotel and its associated malware threats have been known to root out of hacker groups in North Korea where they may be set out to utilize aggressive spear-phishing techniques and Peer-to-Peer attacks.

Dating back as far as 2007, DarkHotel and its group of attackers have been busy with campaigns that seek to attack hotel chains or clients that may have accessed charges through known hotels. The threats used by DarkHotel may vary but should all be identifiable by recent antimalware resources where they can be automatically removed.
