High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

DealForUse is adware that may trouble your online experience with many unrequested advertising materials. This tool, which is created on the popular JustPlugIt platform, attaches as add-on towards Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. DealForUse uses various mechanisms to grant itself a sustainable presence. Whenever you launch your web client, the add-on will also start working. Its primary function is to boost the traffic towards third-party pages. If the ads were in reasonable amounts and the promoted pages were safe, then maybe the presence of this adware could be beneficial to some users. However, the particularly negative feedback of the clients is a sign that none of the mentioned conditions is met. First, the newly created pop-ups, banners and targeted videos appear consistently on almost every page you land on. This behavior may substantially decrease the browsing speed, or even cause occasional freezes. Some users also note that it is very annoying to notice the same ads all the time since they seize a big part of the screen. The second reason not to keep DealForUse is related to its partner sites. The problem comes from the fact that some of them may try to harm you in various ways. For example, you may be encouraged to dial fake security technicians for assistance or the promoted page may try to deploy dangerous software on your PC. Unfortunately, the removal process of this adware may become a real challenge unless you are an expert. Luckily, with the help of a dedicated anti-malware product you can easily resolve the issue.
