Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Detailexplore.com is a search engine that few people would visit on their own, considering that they can use legitimate search aggregators such as Google, Bing and Yahoo. However, sometimes Detailexplore.com may appear in a user's Web browser, even though the person in question has never heard of this page before. This may seem like a weird occurrence at first, but there's a perfectly reasonable explanation why this may happen. The reason is a small piece of software that anti-malware product vendors identify as a browser hijacker – a small program meant to tamper with a Web browser's configuration so that it uses particular settings set by a 3rd-party user or company. In this case, the Detailexplore.com browser hijacker may set this page as a Web browser's default new tab page and homepage, therefore forcing users to visit this page whether they want it or not.
If you notice the Detailexplore.com page in your Web browser, yet you don't recall ever using this website, then there's a significant chance that a browser hijacker was somehow installed on your computer. The good news is that the Detailexplore.com browser hijacker is not linked to any threatening activities, and its installation will not put your computer in harm's way. However, this does not mean that browser hijackers are a welcomed application, and their removal should always be prioritized mainly due to the fact that they use deceptive tricks to boost a website's traffic, popularity, and even ad revenue artificially.
Browser hijackers like the one linked to Detailexplore.com may often be found in unreliable software bundles that take advantage of misleading installation instructions and other deceptive methods whose purpose is to trick users into authorizing the installation of potentially unwanted software like the Detailexplore.com browser hijacker. If you suspect that the Detailexplore.com page was brought to your Web browser via a browser hijacker, then we recommend that you run a credible anti-malware scanner, since this is the most efficient way to dispose of the unwelcomed program that changed your Web browser's configuration.
