Dictionary Pro

Dictionary Pro is a browser add-on designed to hijack your browser's default new tab page and replace it with dictionarypro.co/homepage. While this is not a harmful change, it may have an adverse impact on your ability to navigate the Web since the new tab page that Dictionary Pro promotes is not as good and as reliable as Bing, Google or Yahoo, certainly.

Dictionary Pro might seem like a valuable utility since it promises to provide you with quick access to valuable dictionary tools and translators, but you can rest assured that there are much better choices when it comes to such services. For example, modern Web browsers have integrated translators, and you can access huge online dictionaries with a quick Web search. Last but not least, Dictionary Pro is not a good choice because it is categorized as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that imposes unwanted changes to your system's configuration.

If you have installed Dictionary Pro and you are not happy with what it brought, then it is strongly recommended to get rid of it with the use of a suitable security scanner.
