Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Download Terms or DownloadTerms 1.0 is an adware program that creates advertisements after you click on any unrelated links in your browser, and usually is affiliated with the parked Web domain of Trusted-offer.com. Past cases of Download Terms infections usually have involved Download Terms being installed without your permission or through methods that conceal its installation – such as being placed on your computer automatically through the installer of a separate application. Because malware researchers see no advantages to Download Terms's presence and have found Download Terms to be resistant to typical means of deletion, anti-malware applications should be used to remove Download Terms automatically in response to any clear signs of Download Terms's advertising attacks.
Why Download Terms's Terms of Download Aren't that Strict
Download Terms may be installed intentionally, and markets itself as a program that helps you find word definitions with a minimum of extra Web navigation, but more often than not is installed by various unrelated programs. As a browser add-on that seemingly improves your Web-browsing experience, Download Terms has a questionable track record and consistently poor ratings on various user databases. SpywareRemove.com malware researchers also have tied Download Terms to sites that are known to dabble in adware, browser hijackers and Potentially Unwanted Programs. Accordingly, both a reasonable level of care around sites promoting Download Terms and the installation options of entirely separate applications should be used for avoiding an unwanted Download Terms installation.
Download Terms is compatible with both Firefox and Chrome and will display its 'helpful' pop-up advertisements whenever you try to click a link in either of these browsers. These attacks may be accompanied by other browser changes, such as alterations to your search results or homepage changes that are very common for adware programs like Download Terms. Current analyzes by SpywareRemove.com malware experts don't show indications of Download Terms being used to promote malicious Web content at the current time, but Download Terms does not have any advantages for your computer and should be deleted promptly.
