DownQuick is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that will make certain changes to your web browsers. DownQuick is a free download manager through which you can download all sorts of free download content. Usually, users are tricked into using this PUP because of its useful features like speed, option for multiple downloads, pause & continue download, multitasking and also the option for link capture. What may cause PC users to not want to keep DownQuick is that tends to show advertisements and pop-up ads during web browsing. The advertisements can be coupons, underlined keywords, banners or pop-ups. A PC user can get DownQuick on a computer without even knowing it since this is one of the most popular ways of distribution - being bundled with another freeware. If you do not wish to see pop-ups regularly and let your computer work normally, it would be better to find a way to remove this program.
