It also rates the importance of the updates to give the user an idea how urgent some updates can be – this is where the DriverBooster may exaggerate the results and claim that some updates are critical when, in reality, they will not have any impact on your computer’s security, health, or performance.

The DriverBooster also may prompt its users to purchase the full version if they want to have their drivers checked and updated automatically regularly – the free version cannot apply the pending updates, and it simply serves as a reporting tool that can notify you if any of your system drivers are out-of-date.
