DrSpeedyPC is a suspicious application that is supposed to improve the performance of your PC. Its owners describe DrSpeedyPC as an 'award-winning' software created by experienced developers. In reality, this unreliable tool is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). DrSpeedyPC was not designed to assist the users or optimize the functionality of their systems. Instead, the owners of DrSpeedyPC use it to profit from less experienced PC users. Most of their profits come from the license of the PUP, which costs $39.99. This questionable application offers a handful of features that you can achieve without downloading any third-party software. It is certainly not worth it to pay the price for DrSpeedyPC when it offers such limited functionality. The developers of this PUP also may use commercial materials to collect referral commissions. In this case, their profits will not come directly from you. The suspicious system optimization utility may fill your Web clients with pop-ups, banners and other marketing content. The new ads may not originate from the sites, which means you may encounter them wherever you go.

The sponsored links may promote shopping platforms, pages for online games or other sites that seek to grow in popularity. In some cases, the links by DrSpeedyPC may open corrupt domains that spread other PUPs or threats. Some of the ads may encourage you to install other questionable software that may perform just like DrSpeedyPC. This shady program may enter without the knowledge of the user by hiding in the installers of third-party freeware. You should use the 'Custom' installation guide to opposing this approach, which the experts call 'bundling.' The official page of this PUP was Drspeedypc.com, but it was shut down due to its negative feedback. This PUP may come with two versions.
DrSpeedyPC may install itself on your PC without asking for any payment. The suspicious application will then proceed with manipulated system scans that display exaggerated data about broken Registries, junk files and other issues. Clicking on the 'Fix now' button will open a Web page asking you to pay $39.99 for the full version. Instead of losing your money for this useless application, you should delete DrSpeedyPC with a credible security program.
