EasyDirectionsFinder is a product that belongs to Mindspark Interactive Network, a software publisher whose tools are meant to enhance the online experience of users by providing them with access to an array of convenient features. As the name of EasyDirectionsFinder suggests, this tool is meant to give users access to online maps, driving directions, routing options, and other data that might help them plan their next commute, walk or vacation. The utility may be compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge. However, users who opt to install it will always be asked to grant it certain permissions, which may allow EasyDirectionsFinder to apply changes to their browser's configuration.

The changes in question are not harmful, but users are unlikely to enjoy them because they will introduce them to a new website, which may be set as either their homepage or the new tab page of their favorite Web browser. In case the browser is Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge, EasyDirectionsFinder may change both the homepage and the new tab page. In the meantime, Google Chrome users may have only their default new tab page changed. The website EasyDirectionsFinder promotes is a search engine linked to MyWay.com and found at the address hp.myway.com/easydirectionsfinder/ttab02/index.html. This page features a search field alongside a collection of links, which will take users to popular online map and direction services. The search results this page delivers looks like to be legitimate, but it is possible that they might not be as reliable as the ones brought by Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other credible search providers.

Users who are not happy with EasyDirectionsFinder are advised to remove it from their computers since this should reverse the changes it might have made to their browser's settings automatically. The removal of EasyDirectionsFinder can be carried out via the browser's extension manager, or with the use of an anti-virus tool.
