Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

EasyHotSpot is one of the numerous questionable applications that promise to let PC clients share the Internet signal with their friends and family members. This dubious program doesn't work as its creators announce. Moreover, EasyHotSpot is supported by rather aggressive Web ads, so it may cause you inconvenience while you surf the Web. EasyHotSpot cannot transmit Internet signal if you lack the necessary hardware, which is a router. On the other hand, if you have such a device, you will not need this suspicious software to set it up. The drivers that come together with the router are enough, so there is no point in installing EasyHotSpot. The lack of real functionality is the reason the developers of this adware may spread EasyHotSpot in bundles together with third-party freeware. This way, the PC users who do not pay attention during the installation process may load EasyHotSpot without knowing. If you wish to avoid such unpleasant surprises, you should use the 'Advanced' menu, which should allow you to deselect the unwanted applications easily. If you don't prevent the installation of this adware, you may notice unpleasant changes the next time you launch Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. EasyHotSpot may substitute your homepage with some low-quality search provider. You should abstain from using such platforms because their goal may be just to transfer you to partner pages. The questionable extension also may fill websites with many pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads, promotional videos, etc. The deals and coupons may be relevant to your searching history and the list of domains you have visited recently. However, you should be careful with these links as some of them may be corrupt and open harmful pages. EasyHotSpot may use a significant portion of the available resources so that you may notice sudden speed drops of the Internet connection or the operating speed. The suggested course of action is to use a dedicated security utility for the full removal of EasyHotSpot.
