The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Easyopenweb.com is a search engine that may use browser hijackers to improve its ranking, traffic, and revenue by using deceptive tricks to force random users to visit Easyopenweb.com whenever they attempt to access their homepage or open a new tab. Users who stumble upon Easyopenweb.com are given the ability to use the integrated search future, which can be set-up to search via Google, Bing or Yahoo easily. In addition to the search field, users will also see quick links to popular websites, as well as some less popular quick links arranged into several categories.
At first sight, Easyopenweb.com may look like a reliable website that may improve the user's ability to browse the Web, but in reality, Easyopenweb.com does nothing to improve a user's Web browsing experience. In fact, most users who see this page may want to think carefully if they authorized a program to mess with their Web browser's configuration recently. This is because Easyopenweb.com is notorious for being linked to browser hijackers who ask for the user's permission to change their default homepage and new tab page to Easyopenweb.com. These hijackers are not threatening, and they will not put the user's online safety in harm's way. However, they might have a negative impact on the user's browsing experience by forcing them to use particular websites and search services that users might not be used to.
Although the removal of Easyopenweb.com and the browser hijacker linked to it is not mandatory, we suggest that users do exactly this because there's no way to predict whether Easyopenweb.com's safe status will be maintained for long. We advise users to stick to using reputable search aggregators and be more careful while installing software that may ask them to modify their Web browser's settings.
