eFix is a very questionable program that may trick you into paying for nothing in return. The application is promoted as a PC optimization tool that can guard you against cyber threats and fix all kinds of issues with your system. In fact, eFix cannot achieve these tasks, and the security experts encourage the user to delete it. The suspicious program initiates a scan as soon as it reaches your PC. The results always state there are some errors that need to be resolved. However, to fix them, eFix asks the user to buy its full license, which costs 62 Euro. You should not pay, because the results are manipulated and don't show real problems. The questionable application tries to make you feel you are paying to clean your PC while you get nothing back. Some security specialists classify it as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) while others define it as a rogue optimization tool. Many people are surprised to detect this unreliable program, and they cannot recall installing it. The reason for this fact is the misleading distribution method of eFix, which often travels together with other free programs. The best course of action when you notice the PUP is to remove it with a real anti-malware tool.
