ExpertLookupEngine is an adware application that is only compatible with Mac computers. This software package does not have an official website or publisher associated with it. Instead, it is being spread online by taking advantage of software bundles, misleading advertisements, fake pop-ups, and other fraudulent content. Mac users who rely on an up-to-date security application are unlikely to be troubled by ExpertLookupEngine since their security software will prevent the installation of this program – if however, you do not have good defenses to keep you safe from adware, you may end up with the ExpertLookupEngine running on your computer.

If ExpertLookupEngine's installation is not prevented successfully, the adware may plant its components in multiple directories to make its removal more difficult. It also will create a new Launch Daemon and Device Profile to make sure that its components will continue to run after a system restart.
