Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.ADY is a Trojan that spreads as a malicious PDF file with a malicious JavaScript exploiting a vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. The vulnerabilities, discussed in CVE-2010-0188, allow Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AEW to download and execute arbitrary files. Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader earlier than 8.2.1 and Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader earlier than 9.3.1 are vulnerable to Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AEW. Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AEW may be faced when visiting a hacked website with a vulnerable PC, and may be spread via the 'Blackhole exploit pack'. If Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AEW successfully exploits a vulnerable PC, it aims at downloading and installing arbitrary files which may be detected as malware threats by contacting remote websites.
