Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AFU is a Trojan that spreads to vulnerable computers as a malicious .PDF file exploiting known vulnerabilities in Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader. The infected .PDF file includes a malicious JavaScript that exploits a vulnerability, discussed in CVE-2010-0188. The vulnerabilities, discussed in CVE-2010-0188, enable Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AFU to download and run potentially malicious files. Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader earlier than 8.2.1 and Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader earlier than 9.3.1 are vulnerable to Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AFU. PC users can unknowingly download Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AFU when visiting a hijacked website with a vulnerable PC. Exploit:Win32/Pdfjsc.AFU can also be distributed to victimized computer systems via the 'Blackhole exploit pack'.
