Femindexkilog.club is a Web browser plugin/extension aimed at luring PC users into accepting the push notifications it offers. To do this, Femindexkilog.club will urge you to allow its notifications to prove that you are not a robot. This is a classic social engineering trick you should not fall for unless you are willing to receive unwanted advertisements for days on end.

The very website housing Femindexkilog.club is a single black page containing the text 'Click ALLOW to confirm that you are not a robot' and a small pop-up informing you how Femindexkilog.club 'wants to show notifications' and how you should allow it to do so. Due to the unclear nature of those notifications, one might assume that Femindexkilog may not have a strong mechanism to sift through all the redirects it will be shoving down your throat. Some of those redirects might, as well. be littered with a corrupted code.

By default, genuine adware services usually stick to names that are easy to remember. The Femindexkilog brand, on the other hand, sounds as cumbersome as it gets. Regular PC users are unlikely to type Femindexkilog.club in the address bar. If your Web browsing activity brings you there, nonetheless, you may have been redirected by a browser hijacker and/or other unsafe program lying dormant in your system.

While Femindexkilog.club sends out all sorts of advertisements, the bulk of its notifications refer to online games, adult content, rogue software and drive-by downloads. It does that to generate revenue from those willing to have their sites advertised through Femindexkilog. That is why, when you have a tool such as Femindexkilog planted on your system, it will go to great lengths to redirect you to the sites it will benefit from. It could even replace your default homepage and search engine with other, less popular alternatives tailored to do the job. If you come across any modifications of this sort, you may have caught a browser hijacker such as Femindexkilog.

Fortunately, you can try to revoke any already granted permission. The procedure varies from one Web browser to another. Yet, as long as you can get to the 'Allowed' notifications list (usually located under Settings -> Privacy) and pick the website whose permission you wish to delete, you are OK. If the annoying situation persists, you may have to get a reputable anti-malware program, scan your PC, and remove any potential malware you may come across.
