Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

The Find My Tab Extension is only available for Google Chrome, and it offers users access to a rather simple feature – the ability to search through their opened tabs and find the content they are looking for. While this may seem rather useless, you should keep in mind that some users may often have over 30-40 tabs opened at the same time, and this makes it a tad difficult to locate and open the tab that they need quickly. This is certainly a situation where the Find My Tab Extension may come in handy, but you might want to think twice before attaching this add-on to your Google Chrome installation.
Some computer security product vendors have marked the Find My Tab Extension as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), which means that this application is safe. However, its installation may sometimes be the cause for unwanted changes in the Web browser's configuration. Examples of such changes are:
- Having your default search aggregator replaced with an alternative one.
- Having your default new tab page replaced with a 3rd-party website.
- Having your homepage changed to a website, which you might not be familiar with.
Currently, the Find My Tab Extension does not perform any of the actions mentioned above, but it is very likely that a future update of the add-on might bring the changes in question. If you are happy with the features that the Find My Tab Extension offers, then you can keep on using the application. However, if you ever experience any issues such as the one mentioned above, then you might want to erase the Find My Tab Extension to check if it is the cause of the problem. The removal of this add-on can be carried out manually, but it is also possible to use a credible security software suite to erase the intruder.
