The Flex PC Cleaner is not a legit anti-malware application that can guarantee the security of your system. The Flex PC Cleaner is a simple adware extension that may be compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The company behind the Flex PC Cleaner has created multiple questionable programs that may cause inconvenience to their users. Some of the untrustworthy tools may be promoted as shopping assistants or as apps that may offer you various paid surveys. The Flex PC Cleaner promises to boost the performance of your PC by deleting junk files and blocking any programs that may have corrupted codes. Flex PC Cleaner cannot achieve these features. Its true purpose is to inject various commercial materials in the available Web clients. After the Flex PC Cleaner enters, you may notice many pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads, and other eye-catching marketing elements. The most popular distribution mechanism used by this adware is rather deceptive. This extension may be part of software bundles where the core component is some freeware. Those PC users, who perform an installation process via the 'Quick' menu, may not understand in time that there are additions to the software they have just downloaded. Potential issues as this one are the reason you should use the 'Advanced' menu and uncheck undesired or suspicious applications like the Flex PC Cleaner manually. The presence of the unwanted commercial materials may lead to a range of problems. The persistent ads may appear on most Web pages, which may cause you significant irritation. However, it may be the least of your concerns because you also may experience unexpected speed drops or freezes of your browsers, which may be explained by the loading of multimedia ads. The most severe issue from a security point of view is that some ads may be unsafe. Clicking on a corrupted link may open fraudulent sites or platforms that may host threatening software. It is advisable to delete the Flex PC Cleaner with reliable security software to fix your Web clients and prevent more serious trouble.
