FoxSales is detected by several anti-malware and anti-virus programs to be an adware-related application as well as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program). FoxSales usually enters users' computer via marketing method named 'bundling' that is created for making profits. Adware-related applications like FoxSales might inject unwanted pop-ups, search suggestions, sponsored links or banners into the web-browser and display them while the user browse through the Internet. However, it is also possible to see small buttons referring you to similar products offered by the PUP. Adware-supported extensions such as FoxSales are created to generate online traffic to their domains and thus make profits. This is why PC threat analysts advise users carefully to read the EULA (End User License Agreement) when downloading free software.
