FraudTool.TotalSecure2009.i is a malware parasite that may have been created by the same hackers as the Total Secure 2009 rogue anti-spyware program. When installed, FraudTool.TotalSecure2009.i may display misleading popup notifications. These messages usually lead to redirecting an installed web browser application to a malicious site where a fake security program is marketed and sold. FraudTool.TotalSecure2009.i has even been known to mimic a system scan where it returns many fabricated results.
