Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

FunRebates is an unreliable Web extension with adware properties that may hook to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer automatically. FunRebates is advertised as a shopping optimizer. According to the description of its official site, which is Funrebates.com, FunRebates will give the user the chance to use various discounts, rebates, special offers and coupons. In theory, the ads that this adware generates should let you purchase the desired products at a lower price. It may not take you too long to notice that the commercial materials by FunRebates may not be reliable. They may lead to unknown shopping platforms, which may not be trustworthy. This outcome would not be surprising at all when you take in mind that famous e-commerce sites rely on their good name and not on adware to gain clients. Instead of helping you, this ad-supported extension benefits its developers. Most of the sponsored sites may not be owned or administered by the people behind FunRebates. These pages belong to third-parties, who are willing to pay referral commissions in exchange for the improved incoming Web traffic. To maximize their profits, the creators of this ad-oriented plugin may include partner sites without checking if they are safe or not. The possibility to find yourself on fraudulent or corrupted platforms is the reason the experts don't recommend you to click on the new pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads or in-text ads. Unfortunately, ignoring the commercial materials may not resolve all issues. The mere presence of so many marketing elements, some of which may consist of multimedia files, may disrupt the smooth performance of your Web clients. Some users report about possible annoying functionality glitches like freezes and crashes. Although this adware has an official page, its developers may rely on the bundling method for the larger part of the installations. You may agree to load FunRebates without suspecting if FunRebates comes as an addition towards some freeware. The experts recommend using a dedicated anti-spyware program to remove this adware.
