Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The FVP Image Viewer may not be a reliable image viewer that you should use when you want to open .jpg, .bmp or .png files. It is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may make your time behind the computer less enjoyable. The main problem with the FVP Image Viewer doesn't concern its essential feature directly. You may be able to open the listed file types or modify them without errors. However, the PUP is supported by online ads, which the majority of users deem as aggressive. Whenever this questionable application redirects you to a sponsored page or makes you install a promoted third-party program, its developers will receive certain commissions. Whether they will use the money to improve their product or just to profit remains unknown. What is certain, though, is that the pop-ups and banners will not improve your surfing sessions. They may occupy a large area on the majority of sites. The commercial offers sometimes may overlap page buttons, thus making it almost impossible to view the site without being redirected to partner sites. Another way for the FVP Image Viewer to achieve its goal is related to your searches. The PUP may modify the results without your knowledge. The links that lead to its partners may appear above those that meet your criteria most accurately. Moreover, the FVP Image Viewer is closely related to Search.fvpimageviewer.com, which is a search platform that you should not trust. You may face this questionable site whenever you go online as your homepage. The most important reason not to visit the affiliated sites concerns the well-being of your PC. It is not uncommon for PUPs to redirect its clients to unsafe sites. If it happens, you may load fake software updates or call bogus security specialists assuming they will resolve non-existent issues with your system. The FVP Image Viewer may have an unfavorable impact on the performance of your browser because of the ads it injects. All of a sudden, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Internet Explorer may start freezing of crashing. In such case, you should delete the PUP with a leading security solution immediately.
